Upon returning to her residence, Selena Patrick, who was just about to rest, received a call from Edward Maugham.
Lying on the bed, utterly exhausted, she tilted her head to video chat with him. "Why are you still up so late?" Selena Patrick yawned, her eyes bloodshot.
The man on the other end of the video looked quite displeased. "Mrs. Maugham seems very tired?"
"It's already the middle of the night; how could I not be tired? But what about you, Mr. Maugham? Why aren't you resting? Is it because I'm not home and you're having too much fun?"
