Chapter 40: No Truth
"Grandma." Selena Patrick wheeled Edward Maugham to the center of the hall, "You were looking for me?"
"Selena, have you been very busy lately?" The old lady's gaze upon her showed no signs of reproach.
Selena Patrick respectfully replied, "Grandma, there hasn't been much going on at school recently, so I'm not too busy."
"If you're not busy, then put more effort into your husband. He needs your care."
The old lady's words left Selena Patrick a bit puzzled. She was implying that perhaps her attention had been elsewhere, on another man?
