Everyone was in a meeting, so she quickly stood at the back of the room.
"Some employees, still in their probationary period, frequently take leave. How can one do a good job like this? Don't think that just because you have talent, GA has no way to deal with you. Think carefully about why you came to GA," the supervisor said. Though he didn't mention Selena Patrick by name, every word seemed directed at her.
After the meeting, the supervisor called her into his office for a heart-to-heart talk before letting her go back to work.
