Selena Patrick forced a smile, pinching the little one's cheek, "I'm not unhappy."
"But Daddy's face is so long." The little one's big, dark eyes looked towards the door, and Selena Patrick also turned to look.
Edward Maugham stood at the doorway, smiling without warmth, waving at them.
Selena Patrick glared at him.
She didn't want to talk to him.
Edward Maugham winked at Yuan Yuan.
The little one yawned cooperatively and fell asleep in Selena Patrick's arms.
It was unclear whether it was real sleep or just pretending.
