Chapter 5: The Mystery Girl

Blake's Point of View The party was in full swing. Crowds poured in, flooding the house. Cups littered the ground as the DJ got everyone pupping. Everyone wanted to be at a Blake Tyler party. You were a nobody if you weren't here. I threw the best parties. I was the hottest guy to ever live. Guys wanted to be me and girls wanted to be with me. I looked around, seeing my best friend talking to some of the guys. Asher grabbed a cup of beer from the keg before laughing at something one of the guys said. Asher was my best friend and the second most wanted guy. We've been friends since I could remember. He was the only one that knew my secrets, the only one I could trust in this fake, f****d up world. "Hey man." He said walking up to me. He was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. His long brown hair was a mess, but that's what girls loved. "Hey." I replied. I looked out to the crowd seeing girls watching me. I smirked. They all wanted to be the lucky one. I wondered who my pick should be today. "Hi baby." I heard someone say from my left. I turned, seeing Adrianna in a tiny dress that showed off her body. Her long blond hair cascaded down her back, touching her nice ass. Adrianna was the most popular girl at our school. She was captain of the cheer team and ruled over all the nobodies. She was my off again, on again girlfriend. The title of my girlfriend was used very loosely. Usually we would just hook up and forget about each other. I was fine with our arrangement. She's too controlling but she's a fantastic f**k. "Hey." I said. I ran my hand through my hair, turning to Asher. Asher looked disgusted. He didn't like Adrianna. He was against my lifestyle. He rather find the one and stay with her forever. I don't agree with him. Love does not exist. "Wanna dance?" Adrianna purred. She ran her hand against my arm. "Sure." I said. I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her to the dance floor. I gripped her hips, feeling her ass rub against my crotch. Her hands were in the air as she danced. I closed the little space in between us. I could feel Blake jr. getting excited. Eyes were on us. How could they not? We were the hottest couple to live in Hartford. Eyes were always going to be on us. I smirked. I loved the attention. - I walked into the kitchen, ignoring anyone who wanted to talk. I was going straight to the keg. I needed a drink. Adrianna tired me out. After we danced for a couple of minutes, putting on a show, I took her up to my room. We had some fun before we went our separate ways. She said something about going with some girl named Morgan. I don't know. It's probably one of her cheerleaders. I didn't know them. I just knew they were all good lays. I was leaning up against the counter when a girl walked in, stumbling. Something in me made me go and help her. I had never seen her before with her brown hair and smile. She seemed different than all the other girls I hung around. Something pulled me to her. She was short with brown hair and a gorgeous smile. She had curves in all the right places with long, tanned legs. Her careless and free exterior made me want to get to know her. I needed her. "Woah." I said helping her as she tripped over her feet. She giggled. I felt something stir in me as she laughed. "Hi." She said as she bit her lip, her soft pink lips. They looked so kissable. Her brown eyes locked onto mine. "Are you okay?" I asked her. My arm was still around her waist, feeling a burning sensation as our skin touched. "I'm great. I'm having so much fun!" She cheered. I chuckled. She was obviously drunk. "How about we go sit outside, get you some water so you can sober up." I told her. She bit her lip, contemplating on what to do. I wanted to kiss her, but I knew better than that. She was drunk. I'm all about one night stands but only if they're sober. I don't want anyone possibly sending me to jail. "Promise I won't bite." I teased. "Okay!" She said with a grin. Her dimples popped out. I guided her towards the sliding doors that led out to my backyard. I grabbed a bottle of water on the way. I sat her down on one of the pool chairs. I studied her as she looked around. I had never seen her before. She continued to look around, admiring the surroundings. My backyard had a large pool and a jacuzzi. There was a hot tub on the left and a barbecue area to the right. There was a patio set of couches and a table. Lawn chairs were laid across the grass. There was a gazebo in the far corner with a fire pit underneath. "This house is gigantic!" She said with wide eyes. I chuckled. In deed it was. My dad made sure we had one of the biggest house here in Hartford. Ever since the divorce, he made sure our life was better than my mother's. "What's your name?" I asked her. I sat down next to her. She turned towards me, staring into my eyes. I couldn't look away. Her brown eyes pulled me in. "Your eyes are so blue." She said biting her lip. I looked down. The desire to connect my lips to hers was insane. I had never felt like this before. It was weird. I wasn't sure I liked it. "I'm Blake." I said. I showed her my perfect smile. Girls always swooned over it. "Blake rhymes with cake." She giggled. I chuckled. She was really drunk. "Who are you here with?" I asked. Maybe if she tells me who she came with, I can figure out who she is. "My friend. We wanted to be wild and free! Like that song!" She said full of excitement. She giggled at the end. "Is this your first time being wild and free?" I asked. She nodded with enthusiasm. Hm. Which means she isn't usually at these parties. "Yeah. This party is so much fun. It makes me want to do it again." She giggled. Her giggles filled the air. It was like a melody to my ears. I didn't want to stop hearing it. "Drink you water." I told her. She looked at the bottle in my hand, shaking her head. "I want more beer. It tastes so good." She said. She closed her eyes, moaning. I wanted to badly say some kind of innuendo but I decided against it. I did not want to scare her away. I wanted her to like me. "How about you drink more water and I help you find your friend." I suggested. She shook her head. "No! I want more alcohol. I'll see you later cake." She said standing up. I reached for her wrist, a burning sensation where I touched. "Can I have your number?" I asked. I wanted to see her again. Who ever she was. I needed to know who she was. "Sure." She giggled. I took my phone out, unlocking it for her. She typed in a number, leaving it unsaved. "Bye!" I watched her walk back into the house, a weird feeling in my stomach. I wanted to so badly go after her, know her name. I wanted to get to know her. Who knows, she could be the one to change me. - I couldn't sleep. I couldn't get her out of my head. The girl with the brown eyes and soft brown hair. Her dimples caused emotions I never felt before. Damn. If only I knew who she was. I tried to forget her but I couldn't. I slept with Adrianna until my d**k went limp and I still couldn't stop picturing her. I needed her. She was the only one that could pull me out. I even tried texting her. She wouldn't respond. I assumed she gave me the wrong number but it showed delivered. It couldn't be the wrong one. She wouldn't give me the wrong one. "Hey." I looked up, seeing Asher at my door. I flipped the covers off of me, standing up. I stretched my arms, feeling my muscles tense. I needed to go to the gym. This body does not maintain itself. Maybe working out will help me forget about her. "What's up man." I said. I reached for a random t-shirt and pulled it on. "School starts in half an hour." He said. I rolled my eyes. He was such a goody too-shoos. He actually liked learning. He was in some advanced classes or something. I don't know. "Yeah and?" I said. I didn't give a f**k about school. I only go because dad has already threatened me with sending me to bootcamp if I don't go. At least it's better than going to my mom's. "Blake." Asher stated. I rolled my eyes before pulling on some jeans. I put on my black converse before following him out of my room. He came over everyday to make sure I showed up at school. He claims that he only does it because he doesn't want me shipped off so he becomes the hottest guy. He hates being popular. "I'm driving." I said. Asher shrugged, not caring. I grabbed my lamborgini's keys, going out to the garage. In the garage, we had six cars. I had the black Lamborghini, a white Camaro, a silver Chevy Silvarado, a yellow Ferari, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a silver Mercedes Benz. Dad has another garage with even more cars that he uses. Honestly, the only car that I use is the Mercedes and my bike. But, I felt like showing off the Lambo today. I felt like something good was going to happen. "Dude, you should let me drive one day." Asher said as we pulled out of my driveway. I watched the gate open, letting us leave my neighborhood. "In your dreams Ash." I chuckled. I drove the ten minutes to school before parking in my regular spot. Asher hopped out first, signaling to the whole school I was here. I stepped out, pulling on my pair of black Ray Bans and my black leather jacket. I could hear girls swoon. I walked to the entrance of the school where Adrianna and the rest of the cheer team were waiting. "Hey Blake." Adrianna said when I reached her. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. "Hey babe. Round two later?" I smirked. I saw the rest of the girls looking at us in awe. "Of course." She said seductively. I unwrapped myself from her, following Asher into the school. All eyes were on us, but when weren't they. "Mr. Tyler." I heard someone say in a gruff voice. I turned to see the principal looking at me sternly. "I'll see you later." I told Asher. He nodded, heading off to class. I walked up to Mr. Goodman. He was a tall, lanky man. His eyes had bags under them, signaling the tiring work of running a school full of teenagers. His grey and white hair were just evidence to his age. He has been principal for way too many years. "What can I do for you Goodman?" I asked. He gave me a quick look before he turned, walking towards the office. I followed him in and sat down in front of his desk. I set my feet on it, getting comfortable. Who knows how long he'll have me stay. He likes to ramble about my problems but never suggests any solutions. These meetings are pointless, but they do get me out of class. "I have been looking over your current classes. It seems as if you will not be graduating." He said. I dropped my feet off his desk and pulled off my shades. Did he just say I won't be graduating? "What do you mean I won't be graduating?" I asked him. Wanting to get out of this s**t hole was my one and only goal. I was going to move as far as possible from Connecticut. I hated it here. It only reminded me of my mother and her lying ass. There was nothing for me here. "Your grades are barely above passing and you are missing a year of foreign language." Mr. Goodman said. He looked down at the file on his desk. It was thick with all of my mistakes. "You told me if I got my grades above a sixty I could graduate." I argued. He nodded. So why the hell am I not? "That is true, but you are still missing a class. If you would like to graduate with the rest of your senior class, you have the option of taking Spanish. Now I suggest you do." Mr. Goodman said. He looked at me, waiting for my response. "Fine." I said sighing. Whatever it is, i'll do it. I'll even freaking get my grades up to a C if I have to. I will not be staying in Connecticut. That's the last thing I want. "You have Spanish after lunch in room 208 with Mrs. Castro. Don't be late. Now go to class." He said. I nodded, getting up. I walked out of his office, going towards my class. As much as I hated learning, I wasn't going to fail. - I walked into the loud cafeteria. It got quiet as everyone watched me. People were like little hawks, wanting to know my every move. They were obsessed with me and everything that I do. I walked towards the middle of the cafeteria. I sat down in the center table. Asher was there eating a slice of pizza as someone from the football team said something. I looked around for the girl. It had been four hours and I was yet to see her. I thought she would have been in one of my classes. No one knows who she even is. I couldn't have made it up. She is real and I am going to find her. "What's up?" Asher asked. He turned away from his football friends and was now looking at me. "Nothing." I said still looking around. She has to be here somewhere. "What are you looking for?" He asked. I turned to look at him. He was studying me. "Some girl." I mumbled. I turned again, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. "A girl? The Blake Tyler is looking for a girl? Who is she?" Asher smirked. I rolled my eyes. "I wish I knew." I sighed. I took my phone out of my pocket. I went to my messages and clicked on the blank name. I texted her. Maybe this time she'll reply. hey babe I looked around, hoping to see a girl text. It was useless. There were girls all around me on their phone. I gave it a few minutes to see if she texted back. She didn't reply. I sighed in frustration. im going to send texts until you reply(; I felt my phone buzz. I got an instant text back. I smiled. hey I looked around, hoping to see anyone. Everyone was engrossed in their own conversation. I groaned. I'll never find her in here. tell me your name gorgeous. i cant stop thinking about you. It was true. She's been in my mind since Friday night. Even f*****g Adrianna didn't help. She just rolled her eyes and said how pathetic I was. I just couldn't get her off my mind. I kept seeing her brown eyes and soft, brown hair. The curves were imprinted onto my brain. Damn. What is going on with me? I felt my phone buzz. kate So that's her name. I don't know anyone with that name. I wonder if Adrianna does. She knows everyone there is to know, except those annoying nobodies. She must be someone Adrianna knows. can i see you? I wanted, no, I needed to see her. After sleeping with her, maybe I can finally forget her. I can go back to my regular life of humping then dumping. I just needed a night with her. That was it and I could go back to my regular life. dunno. maybe. She responded. I sighed. I needed to see her. I was going to see her if it was the last thing I do. I needed to get her out of my life, out of my brain. i miss your gorgeous face. She was beautiful. Too beautiful to not be a good lay. thats too bad(; I chuckled at her. She was actually flirting back. Maybe she did like me. i know you had fun to babe I sent the text to her. I looked around the cafeteria. Most of it was empty. People were beginning to head to class. The bell would be ringing soon. what class do you have next? I sent another text. Hopefully with my luck, she'll have the same class as me. I looked up, seeing Asher stare at me. "Dude. The bell rang." He said. I looked around and saw the cafeteria empty. I got up, feeling my stomach grumble. I missed lunch. "Crap man. I have spanish next." I said. I sighed, walking over to my locker. I grabbed a notebook, saying bye. I walked down the hall towards the class. It was a few doors down from my locker. I opened the door, seeing the classroom full. "We have a new student, well not new." The teacher said. I looked around, I didn't see her. There was just a bunch of slackers. "Sorry i'm late. I couldn't find this classroom." I said nonchalantly. I was only here to graduate and then disappear. This was all pointless. "Class, you all may already know Blake Tyler." The teacher said. I rolled my eyes. Of course everyone knew me. "Please take a seat." She ordered. "Alright." I said. I looked around. Maybe she was hiding and I didn't see her. I sighed. I looked around seeing all the girls pouting, trying to make themselves more attractive. They were trying to use their looks to lure me in. Most weren't even worth my time. I bet they were all freshmen. "Sit!" Mrs. Castro said. I rolled my eyes. Such a drama queen. I walked towards the back of the classroom sitting next to some blond. I smirked. I was going to have fun in this class. I started to pay attention to the teacher, feeling my smirk slide off my face. I didn't understand anything she said. I took my phone out and texted Kate. im in spanish. I waited for her to respond, not feeling my phone buzz. I texted her again. the principal said i needed to take some foreign language to graduate. She still didn't respond. I sighed. babe. kate? this class is so stupid. I groaned in frustration. I just wanted this girl to text back. wanna hangout? kate. gorgeous. stop ignoring me :// I looked up, seeing half the class gone. Dang. I wasted another hour trying to text her. God. Why the f**k am I so hung up on her. She's nothing but a girl with all the curves in all the right places. The most beautiful brown eyes and pinkest lips. Damn. I am so whipped and I don't even know who the f**k she is. s**t. I need to get laid. I left Kate's message and texted Adrianna. I told her i'd meet her at the small diner downtown. Maybe another night with her will help me forget all about this mysterious girl named Kate.
