Meeting

~Main Hall~ Mrs Martha Stewart was having a little friendly chat with the Crown Prince. It was going absolutely well, she thought. "Prince, would you like a cup of our high quality tea?" Mrs Martha tried to coax him into drinking it. Honestly, it sounded like she was trying to make the Crown Prince drink a love potion. No one would ever know, it was indeed a mystery. "I don't want it!" The Prince was very agitated that his so called fiancé of his was making him, the Crown Prince, wait. How unbelievable and daring was that girl? He have had enough, he had just came to annul the engagement with her while trying to be polite. That girl was always sickly and had a weak body. In conclusion, she was unsuitable for him and would never be able to bore his child in the future. "I'm getting impatient. There is no more reason for me to wait, I was being polite in coming to see your daughter personally but I see some people don't appreciate it. Here is the king's order." The Prince placed the royal scroll on the table with a soft thud, his annoyance clear as crystal. Mrs Martha was delighted and even laughed like a villainous in the inside but acted like a wounded mother on the outside. Despite that, she failed to hide the smirk that appeared on her satisfied face which was gone in a split second. "B-but why? Prince-" "Accepted." Before Martha could complete her plea, there came a melodious voice that even made the Prince's ears perk up in full attention. A huge contrast to how he felt from before. The Prince looked up and was stunned to be greeted with the sight of a girl whose beauty out shined others from the world. She wore a emerald coloured gown that was simple but delicate and modest, showcasing her gentle features and equally pleasing body. With her snow-white skin, long, black hair as dark as midnight and her natural luscious, blood red lips, the girl standing before him was as beautiful as a Goddess. Perhaps even exceeding the beauty of a Goddess. The girl made a move towards the Prince who after seeing her approaching him, smirked. Well, she probably couldn't help herself, he was a well-groomed, handsome young man holding the powerful title of Crown Prince, soon to be King. Who wouldn't want to be with him. His conceited thoughts were not quite what Ioness was thinking though. As she walked, she analysed the boy thoroughly. She had to say, he was quite the fine specimen with an enchanting appearance, a finely built body and eyes that sparkled with superiority that could sweep a naive girl off her feet. But she had seen much, much better, she was no naive girl. Even her servants who served under her were had a superior beauty than him. Comparing the Prince to one of them would be like comparing a simple minded prince to a God, which was what the actual comparison would be like in reality. Moreover, his character was one that was always impatient and haughty, an i***t from birth and his level of intellect shouldn't be that high either. Beauty didn't mean anything to Ioness, a kind and loyal person with plain features was much more to her liking. The Prince didn't even deserve to show face in front of her. Much less a face full of arrogance. Ioness didn't even bow in proper respect to a person of royalty! Seeing the ugly smirk on the boy's face disgusted her to the core. But still she took the royal scroll without even a mere glance at him. "Well our engagement is already over. Why are you still in my house? Get out." Ioness couldn't help but grin in delight, it was way too easy to get out of this engagement. She didn't even have to dirty her hands. Hearing this, the Prince was undoubtedly, shocked. He realised the girl was actually Ioness, once betrothed to him. Her aura was nothing like a sickly and weak, helpless girl. Instead, she had a dominating and powerful presence that could rival his father's General of the imperial army. But then again, the girl's mother had always said she was sick and bedridden. Realising he had been duped, the Prince looked at Martha with anger and utter disgust that twisted his handsome features. He had known that this awful lady had wished for him to marry her biological daughter instead. He didn't even mind that because she was the best in the ladies of the kingdom in terms of power and beauty. There had been no one who could rival her, but after meeting the girl in front of him, Martha's daughter couldn't even be compared to Ioness. Martha trembled like she was freezing from fear after seeing the Prince's dangerous aura, but she misunderstood. "HOW COULD YOU TALK TO THE PRINCE LIKE THAT!" Martha stood up, seething in anger. Ioness, whose eyes had been smiling moments ago became cold and hard. Unflinching, she tilted her head slightly to the side and lifted her eyes to look at the b!tch directly. The murderous intent present in her glowing orbs stunned Martha who stumbled back from the extreme pressure. "You dare shout at me with your filthy mouth." Although Ioness was cool and collected, the killing intent emitted from her was so strong and demanding that even the Prince and his professional guards had chills down their spines. Saying this, Ioness showed a slight of her power which not only made Martha, but also the whole of the kingdom realise that a SS class wizard was present. Martha was so shocked, she fell down and hit the floor with her knees and looked fearfully in Ioness's direction. Coincidentally, she looked like she was begging not to be killed. How did that girl become so powerful? She should have been a desperately weak girl. Becoming an SS class wizard at an age of fourteen is simply heaven defying. Martha was very sure poison was fed to her on daily basis without any exception for not even a day. She herself had went to check on Ioness's condition four days ago and was confident the girl hadn't had much time left. To simply put it, she should have died. Not become this powerful. Had she been fooled for the entirety of the time that the plan started... or was someone secretly protecting her from the sidelines? Even going as far as to grant her immeasurable power. However, this wasn't important for the time being. Now that this wretched girl had gained power, would she even let her, the stepmother and her daughter, the step sister, who had been non stop bullying her since they had arrived, live? Martha went as pale as a ghost and shook with fear, fear for her own life being taken. Ioness was very satisfied with seeing the b!tch who terrorised this body's previous owner into depression. Alas, fear would be what this b!tch and her little b!tch would be feeling after she was through with them for she was going to make their lives a living nightmare from which they will remain unconscious, forever. The Crown Prince himself was still trembling from the pressure unleashed coming from the girl. He knew he would not be able to suppress her. To be able to hold such a power at a young age defied the rules of heaven and earth! The youngest SS classed wizard had been nineteen years old and was considered a genius among geniuses! What did that make her? She would surely grow more powerful, would SSS even be her limit? He doubted that. Ioness was bored and felt like resting so she leashed her power, both Martha and the Prince sighing in relief went unnoticed to her. Ioness turned around to leave. "Wait!" The Prince desperately wanted to explain to her, he hadn't known... He wanted to say as an excuse. "You dare command me?" Ioness tilted her head like before and didn't even direct her gaze towards him. The aura of dominance and nobility was felt by everyone present. They couldn't deny the fact that they all had an incessant urge to bow down to her. "N-n-no, I just wanted to explain myself. I was mislead by your mother." The guards sputtered, shocked by the prideful Prince who had never stuttered. The Prince didn't care though, he didn't want to lose someone as beautiful and powerful as her. Even though his father had given the order to annul the engagement, he knew the King would gladly take back his orders immediately. If it meant he would have a SS class wizard in the royal family, he would do anything. Having a SS class wizard permanently in the kingdom will surely increase their power and prestige among other kingdoms. They would think twice before offending them. He was a hundred percent confident that Ioness would grow more powerful. "Mother?" Ioness scoffed. "Besides, I don't care." Ioness's gaze was cold, her expression already showed she wasn't the least bothered about the engagement plans. She even had a look that dared the Prince to continue. Leaving the Prince speechless, Ioness turned and left. She was a little grateful that the situation had been handled peacefully without any hustles, otherwise she would have had to kill that so called Crown Prince. A mere boy who wore a jewelled crown wouldn't earn her respect in the least. To get that far, one had to earn it. The hard way. The Prince looked at the back of the girl as she left the room the same way she had came into the room, leisurely, not bothered by the different people who surrounded her. He wasn't sure whether he was thankful or regretful that the engagement got annulled since he could have gotten killed in the process a few moments ago. He turned his head to glare at the snake who still remained kneeling with her mouth open and sputtering like a fish out of water. How dare she fool him all along? He came to a conclusion that he was set up so that he didn't end up marrying Ioness. Perhaps this snake had planned it all out so that he would marry her daughter instead! How infuriating! "You will pay for this!" Martha lost count of how many times her heart trembled with fear that day. She knew she was trapped from all sides by her plans that backfired on her. No one could possibly save her from the wrath of the Crown Prince... or a simple cold gaze from Ioness. ...... Ioness- so I will speak the ending lines vote, comment , share and stay tuned
