“So what you are saying is that even though this, this,” I wave my arm in the general direction of the dungeon cell that holds the feral beast, as I search my brain for the best way to describe this disgusting creature. “Monstrosity,” I finally say. “It shares 59.2% of our werewolf DNA, and that it is incapable of shifting into a human form?”
“Yes, Alpha.” Dr. Booker nods as he addresses me formally. My frustration is causing my alpha aura to leak out of me, causing those pack members around me to speak carefully. I take a deep breath in, trying to calm myself and settle my beast. I don’t need my pack members to be on edge because of me.
