Hunter’s POV
“Father, thank you for meeting with us.” I say to my father as I settle into the armchair next to him. Cole and Jasper following behind me, making themselves comfortable on the empty sofa across from us.
“It sounded important.” He said firmly.
I nod in confirmation, keeping things professional, as my father has always liked. He wasn’t always so formal, but I suppose we all changed after Juniper’s kidnapping. My parents seemed to think distancing themselves would somehow protect us, or maybe it was a way to protect themselves. I don’t know, all I know is that everything and everyone changed after that day.
“It is.” Cole states as he leans forward and places the files we have complied on Elliot as well as the two vampires he has been meeting with.
