Hunter’s POV
We were ready for anything tonight, or at least we thought we were. But what we saw was nothing that we could have predicted.
Cole was overseeing the pharmaceutical facility and from all updates with him all was quiet, with nothing new or unusual taking place. At first the same seemed to be the case at the medical facility and my frustration started to simmer.
My intuition had never been wrong and yet, the longer Jasper and I sat observing from behind our cloaking spell, the more I started to doubt myself. That was until we saw movement coming from the north, just beyond the forest on that opposite side of the medical buildings entrance.
Using my heightened Magical senses, I turned all my powers into that area, not wanting to miss anything. I heard Jasper on
