"Welcome back Luna." Professor Avery smiled as I entered the classroom.
"Thanks." I blushed, taking a seat next to Lanna.
"I left the highlights and some assignments from last week for you." She said, pointing to the stack on my desk. "Plus some." She added with a wink.
I nodded my thanks and began sorting through the material as she began to dive into today's lesson.
"You didn't miss much." Lanna whispered, handing me a few pages. "But I took notes anyway."
The gesture had my heart swelling. "Sorry I had to bail on you and Magnus."
"You were in heat." She chuckled, "Don't worry about it, we've all been there."
