Chapter NineteenPresent day The changing room was freezing. The chill of the stone floor on his bare feet made Raven shiver and hurry to pull on his dark blue jeans. He fastened the button at his waist and pulled dark socks over his feet, but they did nothing to mask the dull cold. The backstage changing room was bleak, grey and lifeless. Previous fighters' anxieties still permeated the air, and fear was etched into the stone walls. Upon entering the room, Raven's calm had slipped. The stone room felt like it was crushing him, and claustrophobia shook his senses. He took a deep breath and changed as quickly as he could. They had left him some clothes, for which he was thankful.
