Cassie watched the sunrise from her back deck. The dawn broke through the darkness like a flower unfolding it’s petals, it’s golden rays spreading warmth and bathing the sky in glorious hues of yellows and orange, pink and blues…. it was the most beautiful sight she has come across in a long time, bringing her joy and serenity.
Leah, who loved colours so much, would love to see this morning beauty…. maybe she can wake her up early this coming weekend and watch the sunrise with her.
