Leah looked at the dogi (doggie) … hurt and bldy (bleeding ) …. her little heart cried out, feeling sad for his pain. She sat down and started the task of removing the thorns and stones embedded in his feet …. her childish voice assuring him, “You be fine dogi (doggie)… Leah, kiss you better, Cassie says Leah mgic (magic) kses (kisses)”
He couldn’t believe this little kid …. she had no sense of self preservation, does she not understand that he was a predator …. he could finish her off in less than a minute …. As he thought about the various ways in which this little pup could get hurt his started getting angry on her behalf…where the hell is her guardian, this Cassie whom she quotes in every other sentence … why isn’t she taking better care of this brave and foolish pup.
