She had a silly smile on her face when she woke Leah up. She tickled Leah and showered her with kisses, “stop … stop please …” said Leah laughingly. Seeing Cassie happy and in a good mood made Leah happy too. She helped Leah shower and get ready for the nursery but then realized that Derrick had instructed them to stay at home. Immediately her happy mood changed as she worried for his safety. Please be safe Derrick ... she prayed.
Leah noticed the gloomy expression on Cassie’s face and wondered why there was sadness in her eyes, when she was laughing with joy just moments ago. Seeing her Cassie like this, Leah’s own smile disappeared and she asked “Why are you so sad Cassie?”, wanting to know the answer so that she can get her Cassie’s smile back.
