Jolly One

Beep, beep, beep, Jill and her Mom heard a honk outside and when they looked at it, they saw that Madam Lucy and her two sons had arrived from the city. Their house helpers are busy unloading their luggage. Madam Lucy waved her hands to Jill and her mother. "Hello Madam Lucy, its been so long since the last time you visited." Marie, Jill's mother, greeted their neighbor. The older woman replied, " Yes, Marie, we are here for good, we will stay here now and do some business." Marie said, " That's good to know we have a neighbor again." Jill also saw them, but she didn't greet them and just went inside their house.

"Greco is bigger and taller now. He is still handsome, but still, he's not my type," she chuckled. Jill didn't mind them and continued doing her school assignments. Jill sometimes visits her friends but her stepmom is very strict and Jill is not allowed to go out often. She is a choir member and always practises at seven in the evening at their church and goes home at around 11 in the evening. But whenever Jill has an opportunity, she is always at Greco’s house because their maid is also a friend of Jill.

One day, when Greco is at school, Jill visits her friend Donna, the maid in Greco’s house. While she was sitting in one of the rocking chairs, she saw the boy at the staircase. Once he saw Jill, he didn’t even bother to look at her and went straight to his room. Jill was so embarassed and thought that maybe he is still angry with her, but two years had already passed. But because of Jill’s nature to be a jolly girl, when he saw Greco after coming out of his room, she called and teased him, “hey crush, why are you snobbing me?” she asked him and laughed “hahaha, are you still mad at me? C'mon, don’t be a kill joy, please sit here and let’s chat, it's been so long. How are you doing? I've heard that you will stay here for good. I'm sorry about what happened before, I just thought that you were still too young at that time”, she added. "No, I'm not mad at you, I'm just so shy after that incident," Greco was a little awkward and they both looked at each other and laughed. They chatted for so long and they settled their differences and became friends.
