Back at Amelia’s house. While in the shower, Amelia thought about everything that had happened. The night of her parents dying kept running in her head like a broken record. She tried to remember anything unusual about her childhood, anything odd or out of the ordinary but she could not. Her parents were perfect to her in every sense. She could see no flaw in how they raised her or how they portrayed themselves in general. Thus, everything about the basement just did not seem to make sense. Nothing was adding up.
