"My name is Oscar Prescott, the new CEO and vice president of this company that you obviously dislike" the young billionaire spoke with a casual but stern voice. Knowing that this negative approach trick will work perfectly fine on Anna, Oscar leaned back to see her reactions. "O.M. Go.o.o.d.ne....sss" exclaimed Anna as she politely looked down at her shoes with guilt written all over her face. "It's okay" Oscar laughed, "you can look up now" he continues and could clearly see that the once easy going girl was now remorseful. Anna apologized again, "I am really sorry Sir, am new here and have never been up in this floor until I met your friends when I came to take some coffee cos ours was faulty". "So tell me now that you know who I am, what did you actually discuss with my close pals last week?" Oscar eagerly asked to hear from the sleek but pretty blondie. "I told them that I can do the three of them separately without each one of them knowing of the affair" replied Anna. ...and she continued, "but they can't bed my two close pals and I without the three of us knowing" Anna Slayer looked closely at Oscar's face after she finished her statement to see if he was jealous of her rather harsh statement. And as the face can't lie, it was certainly true. The ever confident billionaire's voice changed as he slowly but jealously asked if Anna did really meant it. "Of course not," Ms. Slayer smiled. "I was just trying to explain who cheats more in a relationship." She suddenly looked at her wrist watch and decided to get back to work. "Sir, please permit me to get back to my work" Anna begged her billionaire boss. "You can hang out some more minutes with us, I am really enjoying your company and the discussions", Oscar said. "But Sir, I have loads of work on my desk and I don't want to create a bad impression to my superiors since am new and I did worked really hard to get here." Anna continued, as she has planned not to stay longer with his CEO boss before she's tagged another gold digger like the countless that have been associated with the devilishly handsome Oscar. The CEO then said, "what if I tell my secretary to call your superiors and tell them am having a brief meeting with you." "With all due respect Sir, that won't be necessary, but I appreciate the kind gesture. I promise I will have a little coffee break with you again whenever chance permits" Anna laughed and gave Oscar an executive smile and wink as she politely leave the lounge. Harry was the first to break silence and asked the Playboy of Zenith empire. "what do you think of her, Oscar?" Harry inquired. "She do have a banging sexy body and this weekend mustn't pass me by" Oscar replied with clenched fists. "You know what to do Harry" Oscar reminded him of the NDA ( but inside him, he is already falling in love for the first time). He thought about Victoria Cole, his unloving but boring future wife to be, but that only worsen the case. For he knew from that moment that Anna was her childhood fantasy queen that must be rescued and later married, and he's now determined with all his heart to win this last romantic war with her. Oscar knew he had to pretend with his friends that it was business as usual while he will find a way to make Anna Slayer her permanent mistress, and with time do away with Victoria Cole....poor Victoria. So he said to John and Jerry... "plan the perfect weekend spot so I can win this coveted Oscar prize...." Everyone laughed and went back to work. *** Anna knew in her mind that her plans were starting to take shape and any mistake won't be tolerated. She has planned many multiple scenarios in her brain and see which one goes north or south. Her journal (which is secretly hidden in her apartment) is very elaborate yet complicated. It's like a network connections which no one else can understand but her. Don't even get me started about the endless diagrams which makes it messy, but she understands that it's necessary to keep it private. The next day she waited in her office a little longer and came like 30 minutes after she knew the guys will be hanging out. She then took some files and walked upstairs. A walk along the CEO's office carefully looking at the guys was well planned. All the four zenith musketeers' eyes were on her as she smile and waved to them as she walked away. Oscar signalled her to join them briefly which she did with all pleasure. "Hello guys again"- she said as she went to stay close to Harry( still looking at Oscar's face). The Californian billionaire Casanova immediately brought up a question which he had rehearsed the night before. Oscar made a strong eye contact with Anna( probably a sign of jealousy for preferring Harry to his boss) and popped out the question and the discussions the guys were allegedly discussing before Anna showed up. "Tell me Anna"- Oscar said, "my wedding to my long time lovely partner and fiancé is coming up next year and am having doubts as to marry her" "Whyyyyy?"- Anna Slayer looked shocked as she expected the billionaire to be excited about the wedding of the decade which is being discussed in all floors and departments of Zenith towers. "It's because am not a believer of monogamous marriage" he looked at Anna with a grim on his cheek. "Why then did you ask me?" Anna eagerly wanted to know and hear directly from her boss' mouth. "Cos I have seen as well as heard from friends that your responses are very unfiltered, straight from the heart, and on the long run really insightful and absolutely truthful" was all he could hear from the troubled young billionaire. To be frank, Oscar had expected the same usual answer that he will get from his close buddies. It will also be the same thing anyone in the Zenith towers or the tech world will give the restless playboy; "spend time with your future wife, see a marriage counselor together and build a strong foundation" But Anna didn't disappoint as usual. Her response was rather philosophical than problem-solving. "Have you ever come across the poem Either/Or?"- Anna smiled as she focused her sight less on Oscar and looked equally at the three friends. Oscar's reply was an emphatic but somewhat disgraceful "NO", because he's also a master of classical poems, as well and European arts and culture. "Who wrote it?" was the response from John, who was now wondering what kind of lady will be so versed in almost all knowledge. "Probably a 17th century Danish philosopher"- Anna nodded her head , "but I can't remember his name" She turned to Oscar.."but I thought you are master of European classics" Anna chilled in a bit before she proceeded. "Simple as ABC is the poem Either/Or" "Can you please tell us mademoiselle, we are running out of patience" Jerry quickly joined the conversation. "It means"- Anna said, "either you marry or don't, you will regret it" "That makes no sense" the geek John replied her prompting her next response. Anna Slayer looked at Oscar and did see a troubled stare from his face. "You see boss, if you finally marry your sweetheart fiance, you will wake up one morning and regret your decision after you will meet lots of sexy young singles to devour, but will be afraid and careful to bang her leat you ruin your reputation and put your billion dollars company at stake" Anna confidently says. "While on the other hand, if you continue your single playboy lifestyle and never marry, you will eventually regret it when John, Jerry and Harry will invite you to their daughter's birthdays, soccer games and wedding ceremony" the philosophical Anna continued tormenting Oscar's mind on purpose. "Hmmmmmm..." murmured oscar.. "that's very deep". As she prepared to take her leave and resume work immediately, Anna told Oscar to think about it because this conversation needs a continuation. Oscar remembered one last thing and carefully asked the clevee Anna one last question or favor before she leaves. "My good friend Jerry will be organizing a closed weekend get together for her kid sister's engagement party, can you join us this Friday evening?" Oscar begged her so that he can get a One-on-one with her away from his pals. Anna was about to accept the invitation when she remembered her plans with her boyfriend. "Sorry boss, I have to put a rain check on this one"- Ms Slayer confessed to him. "Why?"- the CEO billionaire asked again. "Cos I already have plans with my boyfriend this same Friday night and I can't miss it" was all the blondie said. "Can you make it on Saturday night?", the eager but disgruntled CEO tried again. Anne looked at him with a sad face, "we are going on a special one week boat cruise to Hawaii" "We can all discuss our weekend encounters when we meet again next week"- Anna finally said as she quickly left the room.
