10 Mya and I wilted against each other upon seeing a housekeeping cart being pushed through the elevator. “It’s just the cleaner,” Mya said between breaths. “Maybe she will let us in Sergio’s room.” “I don’t think so. It’s against hotel policy.” “There’s no harm in trying,” Mya said, waddling over to the woman who had stopped at the first door. I hid the crowbar behind me. “Excuse me,” Mya said. “Can you let me into my room? I forgot my key inside.” “I can’t,” the housekeeper said. “You’ll have to go downstairs and have a new key made.” Mya crossed her legs and gave the woman a thoroughly frantic look. “The baby is on my bladder.
