"Oye! Wake up yar. We will be late for college." I heard Tahir's voice.
"I am up. I am up." I sat up squeezing my eyes.
"Yar why didn't we take admission to an evening college?" I opened one eye and look at him getting ready.
"Shut up and get up before my sweet mother switch into her Hitler mode. She is already mad at us for coming late yesterday night."
"Abe yar!" I stretched my arm and get off the bed.
Within fifteen minutes both me and Tahir are in his car going to my house because I forgot to bring my uniform yesterday.
"I will only drop you and leave for college." He announced.
"The first is English class today?" I asked, only to receive a wink from him.
"You're a hopeless man." I sighed.
"Oh come on yar! Ms Sana is really an item. Totally hot and we should praise God's creations right?" He winked again.
"Other teachers are not the creation of the Devil." I said with a smile and look outside.
Soon we reached home and I thank God that 'He' already left. I don't want to face him. I am tired of his lectures to change myself... this is my life, I will do whatever I want, whatever I like. I don't like to chain down as they want me, both Papa and Him.
"Assalam o Allaikum Ami." I enter the house.
"Wallaikum Assalam! Why didn't you come last night? He was asking about you." Ami sai angrily.
"Huh?... Why he was asking about me?" I scoff.
"Ahmar! He is your elder brother." Ami scold.
"Yeah! I remember." I mumble entering my room.
I quickly change into uniform, take my bike keys and leave the house shouting 'Allah Hafiz'.
~
"You miss the class Ahmar." Faiq shouted as soon as I entered the class.
"Did that on purpose. Besides, it's not like she was to give a real lecture. All she does is bat her long lashes and ask others' opinions. I doubt that she even knows how to teach."
"Don't you dare to say anything about her." Zaid said in his fake angry tone.
"Yes, or else we will make you sit between girls in Pakistan Studies class." Tahir says giving a high five to Zaid. I rolled my eyes at them. Pakistan Studies is my sleeping class. I mean why do we have to study this subject when we are born Pakistani.
"Yar when will the next class start?" Tahir asks.
"It's already started seven minutes ago." Zaid answered.
"Abe! Get up yar. That teacher will seriously call our parents if we miss his class again." Faiq jumped from the desk and run towards the class.
"Oye! You have forgotten your bag." I run behind him holding his and do the guys.
We all stop near the window where Faiq was standing looking inside the class. I step forward and saw a girl signal him to wait by waving her pen in negative. We stood there watching as four students left their seats for us and move back. This is how we cover for each other.
After waiting for eight minutes, she nods her head positive and we sneak inside the class. The teacher was writing something on board so he didn't notice any of us besides me. Because I tripped on my untied shoelaces but maintain my balance before hitting the ground. It caught everyone's attention and the teacher also turned back.
"Ahmar Shah! I will really call your father this time if you tried to sneak out of the class again. Now sit down." He says strictly.
The advantage of having an old teacher!
"Yes Sir, sorry." I say and sit down. I can hear the whole class snickering behind us four and we are trying hard to stop our smiles.
I know he will call Dad to give him my monthly report as he is trusted by my family for keeping an eye on me because unlike my brother of mine, I am not good at many things. The disadvantage of being a little brother 'of good in almost everything' is Zulqarnain Shah.
People call us The Shah Brothers and expect me to be perfect like him. But can't they see we are Zulqarnain and Ahmar too. Two different people.

Hira's POV:
"Assalam o Allaikum!" I chriped opening the door for Saba.
"Wallaikum Assalam." She said with a straight face and dashed into the house.
"What happened?"
"It supposes to be your turn to come to my home." She says dropping herself on the sofa.
"Sorry yar! I promise I'll come next time."
"Yeah! That's exactly what you said last time." She rolled her eyes.
"Acha sorry na yar (okay sorry)." I pleaded. She is right, that's what I said to her last time.
"What's for the snacks?" She asks raising her browse.
"Samosa."
"Yes! You are forgiven." She says getting up.
"Idiot." I chuckle and we both come to the kitchen.
"Oye! Since when did you start buying flowers?" She says looking at the flowers which Muhammad Shah sent me.
"I didn't buy it." She says nothing but gave me a questioning look.
"Muhammad Shah sent them." Her tracks stopped midway.
"Hyn??? (What?)"
"Yep, but listen you are telling Baba that you brought it."
"Need to hear the story, first girl." She says taking a seat on a stool near the kitchen counter.
I start making tea for us and tell her the entire story.
"Seriously yar! I don't understand this guy. I mean... how can a guy be so sweet without having an ulterior motive? And especially when he belongs to a high-class family... Hira you need to be extra careful."
"I know yr! But I don't think he is such type of person and besides, we only talk on the phone, nothing else." I shrugged.
"But I think that is the main problem. Why he is trying to hide? He never sends you a single picture of him nor tries to meet you, when you guys can easily meet because of his mother. I think something is fishy." She tapped her index finger on her chin.
"O, Sherlock! Eat it before it gets cold." I put the plate of Samosa in front of her."
"Don't worry! I am not going to leave it."
"So what was written in the card?" She asks taking a bite.
"Nothing, just his signature ZS." I also pick up a Samosa.
"ZS? As Zulqarnain Shah???" She frowns like trying to recall something.
"Zulqarnain Shah.... Zulqarnain Shah .... YA ALLAH ZULQARNAIN SHAH." she shouts in full volume.
"Saba?" I look at her wide eyes.
"Hira show me the card." She ordered.
I pointed towards the refrigerator. She knows I had a bad habit of putting things on top of the refrigerator. She stormed over to it and picks the card.
"No way!" She murmured and turns to me.
"Hira it's him." She says in complete shock.
"He uses this signature in his autographs." She waved the card to me.
"You have lost your mind." I turn back my attention to Samosa.
I may don't know about the actor named Zulqarnain Shah but I am a hundred and ten per cent sure that Muhammad Shah could not be that actor. I mean... it's impossible, right?
"You don't believe me?" She put both hands on her hips.
"No." I say nonchalantly.
"Then let's just put all the puzzles together." She strides back to the counter.
"One: He didn't tell you his full name first... Two: He told you about his family, his full name and other stuff when he was sure that you are completely clueless about the local entertainment media industry... Third: He didn't tell you his real job. He only said that he is a social worker. Which most of the actors are into... Fourth: He didn't show you his picture and never ask you to meet him. Which was not an issue in his mother's presence right?" She says leaning against the counter.
"You're exaggerating Saba... Even if there is a tiny-miny of chance that he could be an actor then why would he hiding?"
"I don't know. Maybe he won't want you to know about him being a celebrity." She shrugged.
"Still not convincing," I say nonchalantly.
"Yar tum (you)... fine. Time will tell... but my intuition as a woman says, that Muhammad Shah of yours is really Zulqarnain Shah."
"Whatever." I shrugged it off but the logical part of my brain agrees with her.
Could this be possible???
No way...
