“No!” I shouted, my voice breaking as Aria started to fall.
Everything happened so fast. One moment, she was trying to shift into her wolf, and the next, she collapsed mid-transformation. I ran forward, panic crawling through every part of my body.
But then something unexpected happened. Before Aria’s body could hit the ground, a man in silver armor stepped out from the trees. He moved so fast it was like time slowed down for him. His armor glowed in the sunlight, his long white hair blowing with the wind. He held a small vial in his hand, glowing with blue light.
He knelt beside her and poured the contents of the vial over her body.
