Aria’s POV
“Before anything, Kael, heal first,” I said softly as I knelt beside him and gently wiped his injured leg.
The wound looked deep, the skin torn and red from the last attack. My heart ached seeing him like this, brave, strong, yet hurting. I dipped the cloth into cool water and pressed it against the wound. I was still amazed with how I fought fiercely to saved Kael where he was locked up.
I know Freya-my wolf, was not an ordinary wolf, now she's proving to me what I least expected. I dipped the water on Kael’s injuries. His jaw tightened from the pain, but he didn’t complain.
