A slight noise was picked up by the drow's keen ears, seemingly from a small creature like an insect or a rat, but the sound came from more than one source and the sources were quickly multiplying as time went on. Ysilnod looked around the hall, but he could not find the source of this scurrying noise. At the same time, that rustling sound seemed to be pouring toward them from all directions.
"Mistress? I think we should get out of here as soon as possible." He grabbed hold of Nidia, who was still spinning happily, pulling her onto his back.
The fervent head clouding her mind subsided a bit before Nidia noticed the eerie noises encompassing them from all directions. "What's that noise? It sounds like a bunch of rats chewing on some furniture."
