trip all alone

296 Words
I had just arrived in California, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer energy of the place. My flight had been long, but the excitement of being in a new city made up for it. After checking into my hotel and freshening up, I decided to explore the area a bit. Hunger soon took over, and I found myself wandering into a cozy little restaurant in the heart of Los Angeles. As I sat down at a small table near the window, glancing at the menu, I noticed someone walk in. My heart skipped a beat when I realized it was Seth Gamble. I could hardly believe my eyes. Here I was, sitting in a restaurant in California, and right there, just a few feet away, was the person I had admired from afar for so long. Trying to keep my composure, I kept my eyes on my menu, though I couldn't help but sneak a glance at him every now and then. To my surprise, after a few moments, he glanced in my direction and gave me a friendly nod. I felt my cheeks flush, but I managed a small smile in return. I thought that would be it, a brief moment that I'd remember forever. But then, he walked over to my table. "Mind if I join you?" he asked casually, with a warm smile. I nodded, trying to hide my excitement. For the next hour or so, we sat there talking. He was incredibly down-to-earth and easy to talk to, far from the larger-than-life persona I had imagined. We chatted about everything-movies, travel, hobbies, and what brought me to California. I was captivated by his stories and the way he spoke, and I found myself opening up as well, sharing my own experiences.
