Another Fluffy Friend and Awkward Times

They returned to the island dock and Akira tied the boat to it. Jin helped carry the things they bought in town and Luna carried the small, black cat. They walked up to the house where Sebastian, Collin and Ryan greeted them and helped with the supplies.

"What the Hell did you bring home this time?" Ryan snarled.

"It's a cat," she said kneeling down to pet her excited pup.

Kiba licked all over her face and sniffed the cat. After a few moments, he licked the cat too, he was a sweet boy.

Luna went into the kitchen and found a can of tuna to open for the cat. She set it down with a bowl of water and the cat slowly came over to sniff it before eating.

Feeling like that cat would be fine for a moment, she helped to put the things they bought away. She couldn't do nothing while they did everything. She noticed an empty spot in the kitchen that just seemed like a bare space and had an idea.

"Do you guys drink?" she asked.

"What, like alcohol?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah, I dont think I've seen you guys drink before, other than Jin and Ryan that one time."

"We tend not to because we lose control over ourselves, but occasionally we can," Akira said.

"Oh...I was thinking that empty space over there, we could build a bar or something," she said, not hopeful they would go for it.

"Why do you want a bar?" asked Collin.

"I miss bartending sometimes, it's kind of fun to mix stuff and come up with something good," she said beaming at the thought of being back behind a bar and flipping bottles, singing Disney songs as she did to entertain customers.

"I see, well if Princess wants a bar she can have it, we just won't use it but sparingly," Jin said, patting her head like she does Kiba.

"I'm not a dog you know," she waved his hand away.

"No, you're so much cuter!" Jin said in a baby voice, pinching her cheeks.

"I will end you, quit it!" she laughed, hitting him in the chest.

She felt a small pat on her ankle and looked down to see the black cat meowing up at her. It smiled up at her and stretched like it wanted to be held. She picked it up and held it like a baby, booping its pink nose.

"So what will you name this one?" asked Sebastian rubbing its belly.

"I don't know yet, I guess I need to find out whether it's a boy or a girl first," she laughed.

Akira walked over and spread the cats legs making it hiss "It's a girl."

Luna hugged the cat close and pulled it away from him, "Akira! You can't just do that to a lady!"

He looked at her questioningly, "It's a cat?"

"I know it's a cat, but she has feelings too," she said rubbing her cheek against the cat's cheek. The cat began to purr as it snuggled into Luna.

Akira raised his eyebrow at her and then remembered something he meant to ask her earlier that day. "Luna, I have something private to ask you, if you don't want the others to hear."

"It's ok just ask away, I don't get embarrassed easy," she said going into one of the cabinets in the kitchen. She placed the cat on the floor beside her and she could be heard rummaging through the various things. She finally found what she was looking for, a roll of pink ribbon.

"Do you take any birth control?"

She dropped rhe ribbon in her hand and froze. She turned around slowly, "why would you want to know that?"

The other men looked at Akira questioningly as well. "Yeah, I'm kind of curious why you would want to know that too?" Collin asked.

"I wanted to ask in case you need more," Akira stated, showing no emotion in his handsome face.

"Oh...," she laughed nervously, feeling a little bad about doubting him, "umm.. no I don't, never really have."

"Are you allergic to it?" Akira proceeded to ask.

"No nothing like that, I just never really needed it," she rubbed her arm nervously.

"Can you explain?" Akira said raising an eyebrow.

"Jesus, umm...don't really need something if you're not doing anything to cause what it stops" she said, hoping that would suffice as an answer. The look on their faces said it did not. "I never did anything to have a baby so I didn't need it!" she blurted.

They all looked at her in surprise. "Are you a virgin?" asked Jin.

"No, no!" she waved her arms in front of her, "I just only have done it like...once."

"So, basically a virgin," nodded Ryan.

"No, just once," she stated to correct him.

The men all looked at each other and nodded, "virgin."

She rolled her eyes and let out an irritated groan, "Ok fine yes! By your standards then yes," she said as she went back to looking for scissors to cut the ribbon. Sebastian found them for her and held them out for her, "you know there is no shame in that," he said.

"We are done talking about this," she stretched out the ribbon and nodded when he needed to cut.

"But why though? I'm incredibly curious to find out why you of all people would've only had s*x once in your life?" Ryan asked.

"Let's just say I'm selective," she knelt down to the cat to tie the ribbon around her neck.

"What do you mean by selective?" Akira asked curiously.

"Ughhhhh, I just don't and won't sleep with anybody! I actually believe in true love, I thought the first time was but I was very VERY mistaken, ok?" she exclaimed as she tied the ribbon in a big pink bow behind the cats neck. "And besides, it felt awful..." she murmured.

The men looked at each other and snickered, "You must've had a s**t first time," grinned Collin.

"Well....yeah," she giggled, "but I thought I was doing it for the right reasons....oh well," she shrugged, live and learn I suppose.

"You just need someone to show you how exciting it can really be," said Jin with a devilish sneer.

"Oh are you volunteering?" she teased him with a grin.

"Dont tempt me Princess, or I will volunteer as tribute," he smirked at her.

"You are the lamest vampire in the world, and you dont even sparkle," she laughed pushing his shoulder.

She looked down at her little kitty in her pretty, pink bow and lifted her up, "I think I know what I am going to call you now. I like Duchess!" The cat meowed in approval and purred at her.

"Where did you get that name from?" Sebastian asked.

"It is from an old Disney movie called the Aristocats. There is a mama cat, a step daddy cat and three kittens. The mama cat's name is Duchess," she said happily.

"She seems to like it," Sebastian said scratching Duchess under the chin.

"Of course she does, shes a pretty little Duchess," Luna said in a baby voice. "And Kiba is my little wolfy prince," she grabbed the pup and cuddled them both.

Luna looked at the clock on the stove and noticed it was getting close to midnight. "I think it's time for bed for us, goodnight everyone," she said with a big yawn as she walked towards her bedroom.

The men all waved goodnight to her and once she was out of earshot, they all turned towards Akira.

"Tell us why you really asked her about birth control?" Jin demanded.
