The Interview

Axel's POV
Clearing my throat, I moved to remove my hand from hers and gestured to her to sit down. She looked down for a moment. Waitt!! Was she blushing? Because I see a red tint on her face.
"Ahem." That was the bastard!
Why is he still here? I glared at him, and he kept smiling, obviously trying his hardest to stop himself from laughing out loud. The SOB doesn't plan to leave us alone. He's here to witness everything.
I tried my best to focus on the issue here. So I turned to her, and f*ck! She was looking down, biting her lower lip! Oh, how I wanted to claim those lips! Okay. Calm down.
I cleared my throat to get her attention, and when she looked up, OH MY HEART! Why do I feel this way?
"Umm. So, Miss Davis. Ahem. Umm. So, can you please tell me something about yourself?" I asked, trying to get this thing done because I didn't know how much longer I could hold out.
"I don't know what to say. Umm. This is my first time, and I don't have much experience," she said. "I swear I was thinking of a different 'first time' and 'not having much experience.'"
I really couldn't help but think dirty! God knows how badly I want to do a lot of dirty things to her right now.
"Okay. Umm. Just tell me anything. About your life, where you are from, your hobbies, anything..." Yeah, it's such a subtle, flirtatious proposal. Huh! I don't know what to say either, so…
"Umm. I don't know where I come from. I grew up in an orphanage. I don't know who my parents are. They told me they found me outside the gates, so they took me in. There was a note attached to the basket I was in. It had my name and my birthday on it.
Anyway, I did my best to learn things while in the orphanage. I learned how to draw, sew, and cook. I also know a little about accounting. I also taught myself to speak different languages. I sing, and I dance. I can do a lot of things. I may not have been to school, but I think I learned a lot and all these things by myself, also with the help of our sponsor," she stated.
I don't know why I felt sad initially, but I eventually felt proud of her. She did many good things to improve herself. WOW. Amazing.
From the corner of my eye, I can see that Lawrence has become quiet. He was looking at her intently; then he looked at me. I turned my gaze to him, and he nodded. I know he told me she was the one for the position.
"I am also a fast learner. If I want to learn something, I focus on it and do my best to master it. This is my first time applying for a job, and I hope it will also be my first job. I know I have to learn a lot of things before I can fully adapt to this way, but I am pretty sure and confident that I will learn about it in just a short period," she continued.
"You said in your application that you can speak three other languages," I asked.
"Yes, I do. I taught myself using some books I borrowed," she responded.
"Hai tutto il necessario per essere un assistente personale?"
(Do you have what it takes to be a personal assistant?) , asked in Italian.
"Credo di sì."
(I believe I do…, she answered.
"Que pensez-vous du salaire ?",
(What do you think about the salary?) I asked in French.
"Honnêtement, c'était trop beau pour être vrai. Je ne sais pas combien les gens reçoivent en échange de leur salaire, mais c'est ma première fois. Et je n'ai pas eu la chance d'avoir une somme aussi énorme."
(Honestly, it was too good to be true. I don't know how much people get paid, but it's my first time. And I haven't had any chance to have such an enormous amount.)
"¿Crees que podrás empezar pronto?"
(Do you think you would be able to start soon?) Lastly, I asked in Spanish.
"¿Significa que estoy contratado?"
(Does it mean I'm hired?) She asked.
Now, her eyes widened as she looked at me. Oh God! Her beautiful green eyes!
I chuckled at her reaction. So cute.
"Yes, sweetheart. You're hired," I said, smiling widely at her.
She was speechless. Then she looked confused.
"Sweetheart?" she asked. And I just realized what I just said.
"Hmm?" I acted dumb. F*cking hell! All the "first times" I have experienced with her today are getting into me.
Now, we're both speechless, just looking at each other.
