I ducked out before Mrs. Faa could respond, hoping I wasn’t going to be the one to pay for the puppy support since it was on my watch that Terrance went straying. It wasn’t until the dogs had been fed and had a long après-supper stroll in the woods, and I helped Mrs. Faa brush them all so they’d look nice for their respective anal squeezing and spa treatments, that I returned to my tent. Someone had been in it.
