Once I finally got back to my office, I found Justinian waiting there.
"Enjoy yourself, Rilian?" asked Justin, sitting on my desk with his legs crossed.
I stopped in my tracks.
"Uh, yeah…" I said, slowly backing up, my eyes locked onto Justinian's like a cat watching a predator.
Justinian tilted his head to look around me at the door and whistled. The door slammed shut behind me, and I grimaced guiltily.
"I hate when you do that," I grumbled.
"If you studied more, you would have been able to stop me," said Justinian coolly. "You realize you are making a mistake by keeping that boy."
"How did you even know about that?" I asked, huffing as I dropped onto a chair and kicked my leg over the armrest.
