“Okay, then,” Kaos said as the three of them stood around the greenfield by the school together. It seemed it would just be Kire, Charlie, and him searching for the portal today. “Where should we check first?”
At the same time, all three of their heads turned toward the White Forest.
“Of course, it would be in there,” Kaos said.
“It’s as good a place as ever to start looking,” Kire said.
“Besides. You really expect it to be behind a Supermart or something like that?” Charlie added.
