During her lunch period the next day, Charlie made her way to the cafeteria, not sure what to expect of the day. Her plan was to march up to where Kire and the others were sitting and ask if she could join them. It made her feel a little bit better because it wasn’t as if she had to worry about Angela being at the table, throwing herself at Kire. Was that what Kire was trying to tell her in the car yesterday? If so, why? Why break up with Angela now? Did it have anything to do with Charlie, or was Kire simply just tired of being with her?
