Two days had elapsed since we had decided to bind Natalie’s powers. My aunt and Ipri had been hard at work coming up with a combination of spells or potions that would keep her powers at bay, but something she didn’t have to take every day like I did. Andrea had assured me she could devise a spell to do exactly what we wanted that could be lifted in pieces, letting Natalie receive her powers back in phases so she wasn’t overwhelmed. Thankfully, we had kept her powers a secret from the rest of her pack, mainly since we had kept her in the house or right outside it where no one would be except us.
