Sierra's POV My eyes peeled open slowly, my entire body wishing I could go back to sleep and avoid this day. It was the day of my dad's funeral. Pretending this day didn't exist meant I got to hold onto the hope that I could bring him back a little longer. Having this today meant he was really gone, and there was no hope.
