The mess with the publishing company has finally been resolved. I thought I would have to leave before it all got sorted out. Nina had managed to get us an earlier take-off time, which meant we would leave several hours before we were meant to, even if I now had to be there before sunrise. The decision was so last minute that I forgot to text anyone to let them know. It also might be a good surprise; I planned to stop and pick up some flowers and breakfast for Sierra and myself. She had been dealing with so much and seemed so stressed out it might be nice to walk through the doors early. That also meant I was getting home well before the blue moon was set to start, which made me feel at ease.
