Three months had passed since I had been kidnapped and Natalie had been born. Everything had been quiet since, which I welcomed, but we were all waiting to see if Natalie would show any signs of having powers at her age. Aaron and I had disguised the possibility of binding her powers for a short time until she was old enough to understand how to use them responsibly, but I wasn't sure I could bring myself to do that.
