Sierra and Andrea vanished, leaving a strange silence behind. I knew Justin was behind me carrying Nathan's body, but I was finding it hard to believe he was gone.
"I don't understand how all this happened," Cole mumbled, his head hung low.
"I don't either," I replied. "But we're going to find out, starting with the whole 'we died' thing."
"Justin, take Nathan somewhere quiet until we're ready to leave," I said, not turning around. The last thing I wanted was for his body to be on display for people to gawk at before Maria even had a chance to say goodbye. "Ladreo, Selceips, keep watch and make sure no one comes near him."
