Three hours later, the bus pulled up at the end of the line, and Francine couldn't wait to get off and stretch her legs. As soon as she had her luggage, she began to make her way into the heart of the busy town of Eastley, keeping her eye out for a hotel or even a modest motel at this point. She just wanted to get a roof over her head for the night before it got dark. Eastley was bigger than Slither, and although it felt a little intimidating, its size also gave her the opportunity to blend in with the crowds and not be noticed. As she walked along the Main Street of the town, she caught the scent of a wolf, a pretty-looking young lady with wild curly hair and a bright smile which made Francine think she had smelt her too.
