Francine wiped her damp hands on her leggings, closed the door to the guest room, and slowly made her way down the hallway to the large room at the end. Jacob's room. Their room. She hesitated outside the grand double doors that led to Jacob's room for a good five minutes, unsure whether to knock, walk in nonchalantly, or just flee and hide until things cooled down. Jacob was incredibly intimidating when he was in full alpha mode, and just hearing him shout at people earlier that night had truly frightened her.
