"Andrew, why are you here?" Scarlett propped herself up, and Andrew rushed forward to help her—his hand colliding with Ryan's.
The two men glared at each other, the same intense hatred burning in their eyes.
"You have no right to speak here," Ryan said coldly. "He's my child, and I'm his father."
"Really? You seem to have forgotten who has been hurting Scarlett all this time!" Andrew retorted, then turned to Scarlett. "I heard everything, Scarlett. When I heard about your accident, I dropped everything and rushed over. It's good that you're alright."
Looking at the tenderness in Andrew's eyes, Scarlett felt a little uncomfortable and guilty.
"I'm fine," she said. "If you're busy, you should go back to the company. I remember you have a meeting today..."
