Lucy tore through the forest as fast as she could. She didn't dare look back. It was right behind her, she could feel its breath on the back of her neck, she needed to run faster, she needed to escape. She was running so fast she could hardly see where she was going and then it happened. She tripped, she was falling, all she could see was blackness before she landed with a hard thud on the ground. Lucy slowly turned over to stare into the pair of piercing green eyes she had been desperately trying to escape.
