Dee was distracted, mulling over the lack of information she'd gotten from Amalthea. Distracted enough, she almost missed Daniel's question. "Learn anything useful?"
Her distracted answer of maybe drew a laugh from him. "You're fitting right in."
"Hmm? Oh? Oh, right." She grinned. "Yeah, sorry, but really. There's not a lot of actual answers going around."
He nodded, pacing quietly at her side while her thoughts returned to their spinning.
