“You're not surprised." Her tone held an edge only someone not used to being taken advantage of could hold.
"We had to draw him out."
"You let him know where we were going?" There was incredulity now, temper flaring. "How did you know it was him and not Han?"
Zibanitu looked away, disgusted by the use of the name that was blasphemous in his House. Composing himself, he turned back to the irate Rishi filling the screen in front of him. "I didn't know. Now I do."
"You risked her. You risked all of us!" Shock overrode her anger. She didn't even try to hide the expression from her face.
Zibanitu allowed an ironic smile to play over his features, voice even. "Risked you how? What could be done to you? Zosma wouldn't dare, even if there was some danger he could serve you."
