They’d been unable to see their charge but hadn’t been imprisoned. Not as the formal definition of the word suggested. An entire wing of the expansive underground compound was theirs to inhabit. They were shown video of Dee’s training sessions as updates and proof-of-life.
Daniel refused to wonder what other things Dee had been up to with the harem she’d chosen. Not that he cared. It just seemed in poor taste. That, and his inability to be near her erased his options of taking her out.
