38 She'd been up since dawn. After a sixty-minute meditation session, she'd struggled to maintain her breath while holding poses her muscles had never attempted. The calisthenics of yoga had her heart racing. She was embarrassed for herself, the sweat pouring over her telling of how difficult she was finding the effort. She'd never have believed such a practice could be so tricky. Then a dunk in the coldest of pools before a casual ninety-minute meditation session after which the work began.
