9 -Seriously, you can't stay in for one night?- She'd promised Mike she wouldn't go gallivanting all over town. She wasn't even sure gallivanting was something that could be done in a place this small. Either way, she wasn't confident she could resist the temptation to go out, despite her promise. Pressing her forehead into the cold glass of the sliding doors that would lead from the kitchen to the backyard, she refocused this strange compulsion into an effort to figure out why she had it. Before this new hobby hit her, she'd never even worked out, let alone felt the need to pound mile after mile of asphalt in marathon running sessions. The habit had started after she'd returned home, and, before now, she'd never questioned it. She'd tried to keep her promise, going out during the day
