I informed Nate earlier that I will be going home to get my medical report, but she didn't look interested in it anymore. No one needed to tell me that she had a lot on her mind.
Mum received me with warm embrace. Aunt Kim wasn't back yet though, so, it was just I and Mum for the next one hour.
"You can't hide this pregnancy for long" Mum said to me, breaking the silence we enjoyed while we chewed on the popcorn, and watched a Tv series. I played deaf cos there was nothing to say.
"What are your plans?" She pressured. Was she trying to make me sad, or she was just simply concerned?
"I will take my break when my stomach starts protruding" I shrugged, not even sure of my plan. We kept chewing on the popcorn in silence. I caught a quick glance of my mum's face, there were mixed emotions.
