"Mr. Carl, Doctor Bryan is downstairs." Nate's voice boomed over the phone. She couldn't go upstairs to deliver the message to Carl, because she was busy filling in for me. Daniel hasn't noticed my absence, since Nate made sure all the messages sent by him, got through her. I was quite lucky to have escaped Daniel's messages today, cos when I saw her, she looked like hell.
"I heard you turned him down" She titled her head towards my direction after dropping the call. After meeting Doctor Bryan downstairs, I was all shaken up, so I hurried to my room to calm down. Minutes later, I paid Nate a visit, with two things on my mind - Firstly, I wanted to find out who Doctor Bryan had actually come to see, and secondly, If my boss needed me while I was out.
