Chapter 3: The Rainy Day Surprise
The next morning, dark clouds covered the sky.
"Oh my!" Benny Bunny said as he looked outside. "It looks like it's going to rain."
He put on his little raincoat, packed his red backpack, and skipped down the path.
Soon, tiny raindrops began to fall.
Drip... Drop... Drip...
Benny noticed his friend Lily Lamb standing under a tree.
"Why are you hiding here?" Benny asked.
"I wanted to visit Grandma," Lily said sadly, "but the rain is too heavy, and I don't have an umbrella."
Benny smiled.
"You can share mine!"
The two friends walked together, staying nice and dry beneath Benny's umbrella. Along the way, they splashed in little puddles and laughed together.
When they reached Grandma's house, Grandma Sheep was waiting at the door with a warm smile.
"Thank you for helping Lily," Grandma said. "Kindness makes even rainy days feel sunny."
Grandma invited them inside and served warm carrot muffins and sweet apple tea.
As the rain stopped, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky.
"Look!" Lily cheered.
Benny smiled brightly.
"Sometimes, the best surprises come after the rain."
The friends waved goodbye and walked home, happy and thankful for another wonderful adventure.
