Chapter 4: The Lost Kite
The sun was shining, and a gentle breeze blew through Happy Meadow.
"What a perfect day to play outside!" Benny Bunny said as he skipped along with his little red backpack.
Suddenly, he heard someone crying.
"Oh dear! What's wrong?" Benny asked.
It was Oliver Owl.
"My colorful kite flew away," Oliver said sadly. "It was my favorite."
"Don't worry," Benny said with a smile. "Let's go find it together!"
The two friends followed the string through the meadow. They looked behind bushes, under trees, and near the little stream.
Then Benny pointed to the tallest tree.
"Look! I see your kite!"
The kite was caught on a branch.
Just then, Gerry Giraffe walked by.
"I can help," Gerry said.
Using his long neck, Gerry carefully reached up and gently pulled the kite free.
"My kite!" Oliver cheered happily.
"Thank you, Benny. Thank you, Gerry!"
Oliver flew his colorful kite high into the blue sky. Benny, Gerry, and their friends watched it dance in the wind.
"What a wonderful day!" Benny laughed.
Everyone smiled as they played together until it was time to go home.
