Chapter 2
Emily Olson worked in the library. By trade, she was actually an interior designer, and had offered to redo Becky's little apartment maybe too many times, but she had taken so much time away from her Ohio life that she felt the end to get a little bit of a job.
The library still scared Becky a little, but she stepped in and looked around. Emily was behind the counter on the phone.
"Becky!" called Grace Yoon, her mother's boss and dog lover. Both Emily and Becky were cat people. Grace embraced Becky tightly. "I feel like I never see you anymore."
"You know the store," Becky said. “keeps me busy." It seemed like a lame excuse. "I'm just here to grab my mother, really." Grace nodded.
"Our Emily, always working too hard," Grace said. "Let me know if you need anything." Becky nod
