The villagers below we befuddled about the wall collapsing. Where did the loud bang come from. No one was noticeable on the ledges above. The town meeting was a total chaos. The woman told the folks it's God speaking to them. The men shouted, telling the woman to shut up, and the railroad folks complained about being behind schedule. There was so much yelling and pointing fingers that no one heard the town sheriff walk in.
