A strong friendship doesn't need daily conversations, doesn't always need togetherness, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends will never be apart.

Cherish every moment with your friends, for once you are apart it will all become a memory.

SAMINA.

All the memories came raining back; there she was , my best friend Sabiha, standing right in front of me with her mouth open as if she was in disbelieve. I am seeing her after four years! Certain incidents took place with her which led to her shifting to the UK and completing her further studies there.

Behind every smile, each one of us has our own story.

I just hugged her with all the force I had and tickled her. That's what we do whenever we meet! Sounds girly but who cares, this is what happens when best friends meet after ages. I just kept staring at her. I love her a lot, she's my twinnie, my sister, not by blood, but some relations are heartily connected.

She was still the same, those grey captivating eyes, that playful smile and she's always up to something mischievous but she does think of others too. Her hair reached her shoulders, she loves it short. And she has even started hijab! Ya Allah how much I have missed this girl.

Conversations.

Sabiha: Hey let's go to my room. I have so much to tell you and some exciting things are to happen! I can't wait.

Samina: Yeah yeah but I have to go back home by afternoon so do hurry and... you haven't changed a bit MashaaAllah.

Sabiha: You as well! Four years but still the same. We are going to have guests tomorrow InshaaAllah; family reunion and so you are staying and sleeping here tonight so don't try to make excuses.

Samina: But what about mum?

Sabiha: No buts or if's. It's final and my parents have agreed. They admire you, I will call your mom and ask permission as I also have to invite them for tomorrow, and my cousins as well.

So youngsters and elders are gonna spend time between themselves! We are going to have a blast of a weekend, got it?

Sabiha: Yeah Yeah! So, how are your parents? Same busy life?

Samina: Yeah Alhamdulillah dad has already gone to the office and mum is cooking lunch for him so she could take it to the office.

"May love that we all share last forever," we said in unison. "Ameen."

Samina: I didn't see aunty or uncle, where are they?

Sabiha: Dad's at work and mum just...

Then I heard aunty's voice, we greeted each other with big hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Well, you will love her as well; she is one of kind; she looks old but she's still young at heart.

Sabiha's mum: Ahem ahem finally someone remembered us.

Samina: But I am visiting you

I pouted and made an innocent face, she knew I was joking and she nodded.

Sabiha's mom: Don't worry dear I am just kidding, any way you two can catch up

but remember; no backbiting about people and remind each other of your religion a little bit. Pray short prayers and be down for lunch by 2.00 pm, and Sabiha call Samina's parents to invite them. Samina you are sleeping here today, right?

Samina: But aunty...

Sabiha: Yes, she's sleeping here, don't worry mom. Let her keep saying no but she will sleep right here.

Samina: We're gonna be back on time, need any help aunty?

Sabiha's mom: Not much to do but you both can come later and help out with dinner then we can serve.

We said yes. After she left we just burst out laughing and tickling each other and the first question she asks me is

"Did you finally meet someone?"

Out of all the questions in the world she had to ask me this one and that too when I bumped into a stranger today. Something about him was different. Who was he? Will I meet him again?

My mind went back to the incident; those blue eyes had lots of stories to tell. Ya Allah, I prayed some duas to avoid thoughts about him, haram thoughts!

'Don't come near me again' I thought to myself and we continued to talk non-stop.
